Geography and History
Wittedrift is a small quiet town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Situated on the magnificent Garden Route, the nearest town to Wittedrift is Plettenberg Bay which is about 7.5km away.
Activities
Canoeing and horseriding are also amongst some of the other sporting activities that are available.
The Wittedrift area offers a variety of guided trails of different abilities and lengths. The Wittedrift Nature Trail takes you along the Bitou River banks. You are welcome to bring you dog or horse along on the trail!
Bird life is abundant in the wetlands of the Bitou River. You could easily spot at a Fish Eagle circling for food! .

Directions: Take the Wittedrift turn-off from N2 just before you reach the bridge across the Keurbooms River.
