Hop on the boat for a guided trip to Robberg Nature Reserve for a sustainable, natural animal encounter, where you can get up close & personal with the playful Cape Fur Seals!
Swim with Cape Fur Seals for 30 minutes in their natural environment with a qualified guide. The seals are inquisitive & gentle natured & our seal swim adventure is bound to be one of your most exciting experiences ever! On arrival at ProDive, an experienced guide will assist you with the sign in process & fit you with a wetsuit & snorkel. After a short stroll on the beach to the boat, you will be briefed on your seal snorkeling experience & boat procedures before heading out on a short boat ride to Robberg Nature Reserve & the Seal Colony of about 6000 – 8000 seals. You will then get to jump into the water with your guide for an exhilarating 30 minute snorkel experience with the seals. On arrival back at ProDive, there are hot showers & change rooms available for you to freshen up. Free Photos are available for you to take your memories home!

Seal Viewing Boat Trip (ProDive)

Join us for an exciting & scenic boat ride out to Robberg Nature Reserve to view the seals in their natural environment. For those of you who do not wish to snorkel & get wet, you can accompany your family & friends on our boat & get to enjoy an exciting boat ride out to the beautiful Robberg Nature Reserve to view the seals. On arrival at ProDive, an experienced guide will assist you with the sign in process before taking a short walk on the beach to the boat to experience a true Plett-style beach launch. Once out at Robberg you will be able to observe a variety of nature, such as Cormorants & the Cape Gannets, not forgetting our amazing Seals interacting with the snorkelers. If luck is on your side, you might even see the whales & dolphins that frequently visit the bay. Free Photos are available for you to take your memories home!

How to find us:

Please drive straight to the Beacon Island Hotel Main Entrance. Park outside & follow our signs on the walkway to the left of the boom gate. We are inside the Beacon Island Hotel complex, next to the volleyball courts. If you need any further directions please ask the security.
