Rus In De Rust - Beautiful Self Catering 1920’s Historic Heritage House located in the picturesque Klein Karoo town of De Rust, Western Cape
Rus In De Rust is a beautiful 1920's heritage house that has been lovingly restored. The property consists of a Main House with two bedrooms and one bathroom as well as a separate self-contained Studio Double Bedroom “Casita”. The house and casita can be rented together to accommodate a group of up to 6 guests OR separate with the main house accommodating 4 guests and the casita accommodating 2 guests.
De Rust is a picturesque village at the foot of the Swartberge Mountain range and at the entrance the world famous Meiringspoort in the Klein Karoo.
Rus In De Rust not only offers safe accommodation that is walking distance to the main road with its restaurants and coffee shops but also offers the tranquility and country "feel" you would expect from a quaint country village.

The Main House
The house has two spacious bedrooms - one with queen bed and the other with double bed. Bedrooms have beautiful antique wardrobes and luxury bed linen. There is a shared main bathroom with toilet, basin and shower (no bath).
Both bedrooms and the living room open up onto a wraparound veranda where you can sit and enjoy the stunning views over the town and Swartberg mountains.
The open plan lounge and dining room lead into the kitchen which is fully equipped with appliances to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
There is a indoor braai/fireplace in the kitchen as well as a outdoor braai area.
There is a comfy TV room with flat screen TV where you can enjoy Netflix.

The Casita
Charming character-filled Studio with en-suite shower and toilet and kitchenette located just behind the Main House. Comfortably furnished with a private kitchenette with kettle, microwave, fridge and crockery.
There is a lovely little “stoep” at the front of the Casita which opens up right onto the Plaasdam Swembad! There is a large garden to enjoy and it’s only a short walk to the main road in De Rust with all its lovely restaurants, coffee shops and quirky gift shops.
