Harkerville Forest Lodge Accommodation

Forest Chalet

The self catering Forest Chalet with its tranquil forest setting comprise of a bathroom with shower, two bedrooms and an open plan kitchen with lounge. The wooden deck with BBQ facilities overlooks the indigenous forest and provides total privacy. Bushbuck and Knysna Loerie are common sightings from the deck. This unit is serviced daily.

2 Bedroom Log Cabins

Our self catering Log Cabins can accommodate two adults and two children. Although they there is not a full kitchen in the cabin, it still provides the guests with everything that is needed to catering for themselves. The wooden deck with your own BBQ facilities is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful view of the lodge. This unit is serviced daily.

1 Bedroom Cabins

Our three Log Cabins each comprise of a single room, each with their own private deck, shower, television, fridge/freezer and a kettle. 

Guest House

Our Guest House overlooks the most beautiful gardens and while relaxing on the veranda you can enjoy a breath taking sunrise/sunset. The guest house comprise of three double en-suite rooms, a kitchen, lounge and dining room. This unit is serviced daily.

Bunk house

Our Bunk House comprise of ten dormitories leading out into a central barbeque and dining area. This is an ideal facility for large groups from where they can explore The Garden Route. The Bunk Houses have access to separate male and female ablution facilities with hot and cold showers.

Safari Cabins

Our two Safari Cabins are mainly for school groups as each four bedroom cabin can sleep six persons per room on triple stack beds. Each cabin has its own timber deck with BBQ facility, and has the most beautiful views from the deck, and has private ablution inside each cabin. There is no kitchen facility as we offer an all inclusive rate for our groups.

Camping

We are proud to say that all eighteen of our campsites are on beautiful green grass with electricity and close to the ablutions.

Weddings & Functions

Our “Loerie Lapa” we can accommodate up to 160 guests seated. This is a lovely venue if you are looking for something close to nature and special. All functions are custom made and we have individual packages for each one. Our wedding planner, Altima Julyan @ Celebration Emporium, will help you make your special day unforgettable!

Directions: We are located 12km from Plettenberg Bay, and 22km from Knysna, on the N2. Please take the Harkerville turnoff at the Sasol service station and follow our signs for approximately one kilometre.
